Sunday, October 5: The biblical image of a vineyard was classically a picture of Israel, God's chosen people. They were chosen for the envious responsibility of revealing Yahweh to the rest of the world. But they got mired in internal fighting and abuses which greatly diminished their ability to fulfill their mission. In telling the story of the vineyard, Jesus points out their sad rejection of the Messiah. But there is hope: new stewards to run the vineyard and produce fruit for the Master. Pastor Reeder's message is "Trouble in the Vineyard" from Matt hew 21:33-46. We hope you will join us.
Songs this Sunday include: Jesus Lover of My Soul, Christ is Made the Sure Foundation, You Never Let Go, Grace That Is Greater THan All Our Sin, Blest Be The Tie.
Scripture This Sunday: Exodus 20:1-4,7-9,12-20; Matthew 21:33-46.
