VISITING US & WHAT TO EXPECT
We are not performers and we will not tell you how to live your life. We are people just like you. First Baptist Church of Pitman is a group of people who love and worship Jesus. When you visit us you will find a place that welcomes you just as you are. Our services begin at 10:15 am and include communal prayer time, a time of worship where we sing, play instruments, and express our love for God, a Biblical sermon that is focused on you and exercising your faith through deeds, words, and belief, and we conclude with prayer. The average service is roughly an hour long but may vary from time to time.

WHERE CAN I TAKE MY CHILDREN?
Children from ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to attend Children's Church from 10:15a until the end of service. Please drop off and pick up at the doorway to our classroom. Masks are optional.
*On Communion Sundays children will be brought to the Sanctuary and released to their families during service. All are welcome to join us in celebration.

IS YOUR FACILITY WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
YES! Accessibility is now available. We have ramps and railings as well as helping hands, and we also have an elevator entrance via the Fig Leaf entryway. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact us ahead of time to make sure we're on the lookout for you!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Most people at First Baptist wear whatever they want and you should too. Some wear suits while others wear t-shirts and jeans. At First Baptist comfort is king as we believe God is more concerned about our hearts than with our outward appearance. Wear whatever suits you.

COVID-19 Visiting Policy
There are Bibles in the sanctuary again, however feel free to bring your own Bible or use one on your cell phone.

No physical bulletins, we will be emailing them. Announcements will continue to be dispersed through email and social media. Email the church office to be added to our mailing list.

We will be passing the offering plate some Sundays, but also have a box near the front of the sanctuary. Tithes, offerings, and donations can also be mailed to the church or given through PayPal. First Baptist is a 501c3 non profit organization.

At this time, masks are optional. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home and take advantage of our live or recorded service.
